Ok so I was finally going to hack my wii to play iso. Thats all I wanted. I followd a bunch of tutorials and none made sense. Within this brief article I plan to flag up a few FAQ’s on ‘how to unlock my Wii’. After all it really, before I carried out a my software update, I didnt have the faintest idea. For most of us rookie gamers out there, its a confusing topic right?
Why does one want to unlock a Wii anyway? Well most ‘Wii gamers’ when they start up tend to just mess around with the bog standard games such as Guitar Hero and Mario Kart. Yeah they are great fun, and can be a laugh when you have the family round Christmas day!
Actually my family and I had the Beatles Rock Band game pumping and even Grandad was singing some of his old favorites. It was hilarious! And even the little kids were singing along to songs that were written in the 60′s. That band will live on forever folks!
But can you imagine what it would be like to be playing the drums and trying to sing along by yourself a few weeks later when everyone has gone back to work? Nope, I dont think so. But I am sure that most of us agree that the console is so powerful and there is no reason to just leave it dorment.
The serious gamers out there realise that there are so many advantages that come with unlocking the Wii, most of which are explained below. In my honest opinion it just makes sense to pay a few bucks for some great software, unlock your Wii and tap into the many benefits that most people wouldnt even dream of obtaining.

I hope thats a fairly obvious one for you guys? Chip modification is not a good way forward – after all, we are in 2010! There is no need for an electricians skillset and soldering experience! And did you know that when you open up your box you automatically void your manufacturers warranty? Software modification only is definitely the way forward.
2. How do I know where to purchase the correct software?
Did you know there is over 2 million results for ‘unlock my Wii’ on google? There are many fraudulent and illegal companies out there trying to pick up your business. Apart from my recommendations below, I would definitely try searching for Wii software products on Clickbank. These guys do not endorse ‘phonies’ and will act on your behalf if you have a problem.

Well, it depends on which software you choose as discussed in point 2! It should be as simple as downloading the software electronically, transferring to your Wii, and then following the step-by-step instructions.
